Lark Basements Ltd (company number 14825734), 55 Lower Road, Faversham, Kent ME13 7NG, is the data controller for this website, larkbasements.co.uk. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights. Last updated 23 October 2026.
What we collect and why
- Quote and contact enquiries: your name, email address, phone number, postcode and what you tell us about your cellar, sent through the form on this site, by email, phone, text or WhatsApp, including any photos you send us. We use this to reply, arrange a survey and prepare a quote. Lawful basis: taking steps to enter a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- Customers: your contact details, property address, survey notes, photos of the work, quotes, invoices, warranty and pump service records. We use these to carry out and guarantee the work, service your pump system and meet our legal and tax obligations. Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you and legal obligation.
- Website use: standard server logs and, if you accept cookies, anonymised analytics about how the site is used. Lawful basis: your consent, managed through the cookie banner.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or use it for marketing lists. We share it only with the services that help us run the business: our website host and form provider (which emails your enquiry to larkbasements@gmail.com), Google (email, analytics and reviews), WhatsApp if you contact us that way, our accountant, and Building Control or a structural engineer where a project needs them. Where a job is carried out with our sister company, PT Renovations, your details may be shared with them for that job only.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become a job are deleted after two years. Customer records are kept for six years after the last invoice for tax purposes, and warranty and pump service records are kept for the life of the warranty so that we can honour it.
Cookies
